Christmas Alcohol,Dehydration and Joint Pain
There is a growing burden of evidence to suggest that joint pain can be caused and/or aggravated by dehydration. Bear this in mind during the Christmas break, especially when consuming alcohol. But also bear in mind that diuretics such as coffee, cranberry juice and fizzy drinks can also deplete the body of water. So remember, drink plenty of water after drinking alcohol, and failing that, put more tonic in it!
